ODOT’s New EV Charger Rebate Program Allocates Funds to Nearly 60 Projects in First Two Months

In just two months since launching the first round of funding for the Oregon Department of Transportation’s Community Charging Rebates program, ODOT has allocated more than $1.2 million for 58 EV charging projects in 20 Oregon counties. The Community Charging Rebates Program offers rebates for Level 2 EV charging projects at multifamily homes and publicly accessible parking areas throughout Oregon. The rebates range from $4,250 - $5,500 per charging port or up to 75 percent of eligible project costs, whichever is less.

Visit the rebate program webpage for the latest on remaining funding, several resources to help people understand the program, and to submit an application.
