Electrify America Announces First Coast-to-Coast Fast Charging EV Route

The largest open DC fast charging network in the U.S., Electrify America, recently announced the completion of its first cross-country DC fast charging route for electric vehicles. The route spans over 2,700 miles in 11 states – taking EV drivers from L.A. to D.C. – and is the first of two coast-to-coast EV pathways Electrify America has plans for.

“Electrify America’s primary goal has always been to advance electric vehicle adoption in the U.S., and that starts by instilling feelings of confidence and freedom in consumers when it comes to EV ownership,” said Anthony Lambkin, director of operations at Electrify America. “The completion of our first cross-country route is a significant step towards that goal – by making long-distance travel in an EV a reality, we hope to encourage more consumers to make the switch to electric.”

Electrify America hopes to complete the second route by the end of summer, allowing EV drivers to travel from Jacksonville, FL to San Diego, CA.
