The Oregon Public Utility Commission has accepted Portland General Electric’s Transportation Electrification Plan, creating a path for PGE to propose residential and public charger programs and to make investments to EV supporting infrastructure. PGE officials are anticipating 100,000 zero emission vehicles in five years and up to 1 million in 2050. That’s a big increase from the current 25,000 in its region.

PGE is also planning to propose a $500 residential charger incentive and a $1,000 incentive for income-qualified customers in the future.
