ODOT to Host Webinar June 27 with Updates on Plans for EV Charging Infrastructure

The Oregon Department of Transportation recently announced plans to invest $100 million in federal and state funds over the next five years to bolster Oregon’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure. In April, ODOT provided an overview of the federal requirements for the funding at a public webinar. Since then, the agency has met with several stakeholder groups and the federal government has released additional requirements.

Join staff from the ODOT Climate Office and the Oregon Department of Energy from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 27 for an update on Oregon’s EV charging future.

On the agenda:

  • A summary of the draft state plan.

  • Key takeaways from meetings with stakeholder groups.

  • An overview of how ODOT is incorporating the latest federal guidance.

  • A preview of next steps for building out our corridors with fast-chargers and stakeholder engagement.

  • An opportunity to ask questions.

The webinar will be held on Zoom. Registration is required to attend.
