Biden Announces New Target of 50% Car Sales to be EVs by 2030
In an effort to accelerate the transition to clean transportation, President Biden has announced a new goal to have 50 percent of new car sales be electric vehicles by 2030. While the executive order signed today does not mandate that the goal is reached, several major automakers have released statements in support of the E.O., pledging to work toward the objective.
