Clean Trucks Rule Development Virtual Meeting June 24

Join the Department of Environmental Quality for a virtual meeting to provide background information and receive early input from community members and stakeholders that will help inform the development of future rulemaking for the Clean Trucks Rule. The rulemaking will focus on adopting two recent California air quality rules by reference, including:

  • The Advanced Clean Trucks rule, which would require manufacturers of medium- and heavy-duty vehicles to sell a certain percentage of zero emission vehicles in Oregon beginning with the 2024 vehicle model year.

  • The Heavy Duty Low NOx Omnibus rules which would require heavy-duty vehicle manufacturers to comply with tougher NOx emission standards, overhaul engine testing procedures, and further extend engine warranties to ensure NOx emissions are reduced.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend!
