City of Ashland Introduces 10 New Charging Stations Downtown

Good news for EV drivers in Ashland!

The Pioneer parking lot in downtown Ashland was recently updated with an expanded area for electric vehicles, including 10 new electric vehicle chargers. There is no sign up process or fee to pay to use the EV chargers — visitors simply park and plug in! The new charging area was designed to lower barriers for drivers who go electric. Ashland Electric is able to offer no-fee charging thanks in part to funds from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality’s Oregon Clean Fuels Program.
