Great news from Hood River!

Nonprofit Forth has been selected for a $548,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to support a three-year electric vehicle car-sharing pilot program in Hood River.

The grant will help pay for five Honda Clarity EVs to be stationed around town and available for check-out through Envoy. Hood River residents and visitors can get behind the driver seat and take the Claritys out for a round-trip adventure.

The Pacific Northwest National Lab will analyze data from the program to help inform future EV car-sharing programs.
