City of Ashland Announces Empower EV Incentive Pilot Program

This week, the City of Ashland announced a new electric vehicle incentive program, Empower EV, through the Ashland Electric Utility.

Empower EV supports adoption of electric vehicles and workplace charging infrastructure in Ashland.

Ashland Electric Utility customers can qualify for a $300 rebate for qualifying new or used all-electric plug-in vehicles, or $200 for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Businesses can apply for a $500 rebate to install a workplace EV charger.

The City of Ashland is expanding EV infrastructure and support as part of its Climate and Energy Action Plan.
